Hell

Yelling, screaming, crying,
What is going on here?
The holocaust!

Adolf hitler, WWII,
Axis vs Allies,
Nazis vs Jews,
Hitler knew the war was lost, but not against the Jews.
Auschwitz,
Shaved heads, concentration camps, crematorium, gas chamber,
What is going on here?

Allies win the war, on to liberation camps,
To this day I CANNOT forget,
The walking dead in flannel pajamas,
Why did I survive?
Why did GOD spare me?
That was the last time I saw my father.
To this day I cannot forget,
Becoming afree human being again.
I can do what I please, man you can have all the damn bananas and all the damn oranges you want.
Thank you god,
But what was going on there?

I chose to write my poem in chronological order to WWII and the holocaust.
I was trying to convey sadness in my first two paragraphs by using phrases like:
"yelling, screaming, crying." and "shaved heads, concentration camps, crematorium,
Gas chambers." by the third paragraph I was conveying hope. I showed this by using
quotes from the testimonials in The Last Days and a question at the end help show
that off.
